"I know how it feels to have someone really close to you die. It changes you. Kind of turns off a light in your soul."
- Scott, The Party Room Trilogy: Last Call
I've finally realised the power of books, like how they make you feel sad, nostalgic etc through the story.
DEATH.
That big, black, bold word.
I'd be a liar if I said I am not scared of death. I don't want to go through the process of mourning for the loss of my loved ones (even though I hate my parents, sis and bro but somehow, deep down in my heart, I still love them), much less the loss of even my pets. And that is why I'd rather die early, before everyone else.
Yes, I know, I am selfish.
Hahahaha, but I think I am the only one who celebrates birthdays, thinking that I am one year closer to death.
What I am more afraid of is how I die. Hmmm, will it be painless?
